If you would like your child to be engaged, motivated, and enthusiastic about learning and playing music, this program may be the way to develop a life long musical learner and have a heap of fun in the process.
The Program:
- 1 instructional lesson per week on a chosen instrument
- and a group JAM at the end of term
- Students choose an instrument: vocals, guitar, ukulele, bass, drums, keyboard
- Students need their own instrument and equipment to practice and participate in the jam
- Aimed at players as young as 8 years and up including high school students
- Younger players can be involved if suitable (size, dexterity, etc)
- All learn the same 2 songs during their individual lessons per term
- Learn parts, theory, and reading skills necessary to play/sing the songs
- Learn correct technique in order to play the songs well
- Have access to information, charts and learning materials on Google Classrooms
- Learn a mixture of modern and retro songs

The Fine Print:
- 30 minute individual lessons weekly
- The group session at the end of term is longer depending on the number of students (usually an hour)
- The group session is in place of the last lesson of the term at no extra cost for instruction
- Group sessions may be at a different venue depending on the number of players
- If the group session is at another venue, there may be a venue hire cost which will be divided between the participants. Every effort will be made to keep this at a minimum.
